OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (July 23, 2024) – Acorn Capital Management is pleased to announce the appointment of John Nash as Senior Advisor. Nash brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the firm, enhancing its strategic investments in the aerospace, defense, intelligence, and space sectors.

Nash is a distinguished graduate of prestigious military programs, including Airborne School and Ranger School. He has held various leadership and command roles within the U.S. Army at multiple levels. With over a decade of service, Nash has undertaken special operations, national security, and diplomatic responsibilities, completing multiple tours in Afghanistan, Iraq, and other conflict zones.
In addition to his military achievements, Governor Kevin Stitt appointed Nash as the Secretary of Military and Veterans Affairs for Oklahoma, a position he will continue to hold at the Governor’s discretion.

Nash holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Oklahoma, an MBA from the European University in Madrid, and a law degree from Seton Hall University, from which he graduated cum laude.
John Nash is a devoted husband and father of two who enjoys coaching basketball and spending time with family and friends.
